It's all just twisting corridors and tunnels. ![]() Plot! The two of them are travelling together in unknown lands when chance leads to them taking shelter in a strange, walled city, which has no squares, plazas or open streets. Let's, uh, just give Howard a B on this one.īut anyway. I will give Howard his due for writing a badass warrior woman in the 1930's, but on the other hand she rather despises other women and must inevitably pale in comparison to Conan, possibly the biggest power-fantasy character of all time. Howard character she is ferocious and more-or-less completely amoral. She is a pirate and general sword for hire, and being a Robert E. ![]() This outing is in large part told through the POV of Valeria, whom I know a bit from the old Conan comics.
